An amendment to Sweden's "Betaltjänstlagen" goes into effect on January 1, 2023. Starting then, SCA (BankID) will be required on all B2C purchases, also including Direct Invoice and Installments.

Split shipment summary on the thank you-page

We’re excited to announce a brand new feature for Walley – the ability to show a split shipment summary on the thank you-page.

We know the importance of delivering a great customer experience and this new feature helps us do just that, streamlining the delivery process.

This feature is available when you use our delivery module to integrate your shipment directly in the identification and payment flow.

B2B cost center and reference now searchable

It's now possible to search for additional data on B2B purchases, for example when the buyer entered a specific reference or labeling like cost center when performing the purchase.

It will also show up on the order details just below the customer information.

The data is shown on the order details page, just below the customer

Pay Links can now be aborted

We received feedback that it was not possible to abort Pay Links once they were created and that this was confusing for your customers.
This is now possible! 🎉

You will find a new "Actions" menu where we have gathered all actions you can do on a Pay Link, and if you click Abort you will be asked a confirmation to do so.

Aborted Pay Links are still visible in Merchant Hub but the end customer will see a message that it's no longer available if the go to the link.

Hope you will find this useful!

Update to our checkout!

Roughly a year ago we launched Walley Checkout. During the last 12 months we have added loads and loads of features and customized the product to be 100% compatible with Collector Checkout.

Now it's time to scrap Collector Checkout. Starting on September 26th all merchants that does not explicitly request Collector Checkout will be automatically moved to Walley Checkout.

On 10th of October we will shut down Collector Checkout and move all remaining merchants to Walley Checkout.

Note: There are no breaking changes on how merchants integrate with our checkout nor how they update the cart, set fees or similar. Everything will be done automatically and without any required interaction from the merchant.

Logos for delivery methods

For merchants using delivery module.

We have now released support for displaying delivery method logos in Walley Checkout. If you use our plugin for nShift the logos will be visible without any actions from the merchant side.

If you have built a custom adapter you can map delivery methods to our logo library or set your own specific logos.

Many merchants have requested this feature so we are happy to deliver this and further enhance user experience in Walley Checkout.
